CELTIC FILM AND TELEVISION FESTIVAL 2002
This year the festival was held in Kemper (Quimper), Brittany and representatives from the 6 Celtic countries plus special guest Galacia were present to see who would win the 16 bronze torcs for excellence on screen, radio and new media.
The main prize was the gold torc - The "Spirit of the Festival" award - and this year it was Wales and S4C who won the award for one of the programmes in the "Welsh in a Week" series. This series for Welsh learners is a co-production between Fflic and Acen, and all of us here at Acen are very happy and proud of the honour. We also send our congratulations to our colleagues at Fflic.
Remember that the first series can still be seen on the Welsh at 11 slot on S4C digital every Monday and Friday till the end of June. The new series begins at 9pm on Monday, 9 September and will include the programme filmed in Patagonia.
