What happens in the programmes?
In each programme, the camera follows a learner - or occasionally a pair of learners - at home, at work and at leisure for a week, as they prepare for their challenge. Each programme also has a short feature on the "guest of the week" - someone who has succeeded in becoming fluent in Welsh.
Are these language learning programmes?
No, not in the traditional sense of educational programmes or even S4C's soap opera series "Talk About Welsh". These are programmes about people who are learning Welsh and presented in a documentary style.

The programmes are narrated in English by Rupert Moon. Nia Parry uses English to introduce and explain the language required for the challenges. The "guest of the week" slots are narrated in Welsh by the learners themselves but have English subtitles.
